Refund Policy
CANCELLATION, REFUND, AND POSTPONEMENT POLICY
THE PARIS FASHION SHOW
Last updated: August 2026
This policy specifies the conditions applicable to cancellations, refund requests, and any postponements concerning the services offered by THE PARIS FASHION SHOW SAS.
It supplements the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the Terms and Conditions of Participation in the Fashion Show.
1. Booking and commitment
Any booking approved by The Paris Fashion Show constitutes a firm commitment by the client.
Booking a service notably entails the mobilization of human, technical, logistical, artistic, and event resources.
Participation is therefore considered definitively reserved only after the order has been approved and the requested amount has been paid.
2. Deposit and initial payment
When a deposit or initial payment is required to confirm participation, it constitutes part of the price of the service.
Unless otherwise expressly provided by law or agreed in writing with The Paris Fashion Show, amounts paid are not automatically refundable in the event of cancellation initiated by the participant.
3. Cancellation by the participant
In the event of cancellation by the participant after confirmation of their participation, amounts already paid may remain due to The Paris Fashion Show.
This rule applies in particular when the organization has already incurred expenses or reserved resources necessary for the client’s participation.
Any cancellation request must be submitted in writing to the organization as soon as possible.
The Paris Fashion Show may exceptionally review a refund request on a case-by-case basis, without this possibility constituting an acquired right for the participant.
4. No-show
The participant’s absence on the day of the event, whatever the reason, does not automatically entitle them to a refund of the amounts paid.
The same applies when the participant has not provided, within the required deadlines, the information, designs, documents, or other materials necessary to organize their participation.
5. Changes to the number of looks or the service
A reduction in the number of looks, a reduction in the selected services, or a change to the project after the booking has been confirmed does not automatically entitle the participant to a price reduction or refund.
Any change must be approved in advance by The Paris Fashion Show.
6. Postponement of the event
For reasons beyond its control, The Paris Fashion Show may have to postpone the event.
In that case, the organization will inform participants of the new date and the applicable arrangements.
Where possible, the participation initially booked may be transferred to the new date.
7. Changes to the venue or schedule
The venue, times, running order, or certain technical arrangements for the event may be modified for organizational, technical, safety, or force majeure reasons.
Such a modification does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund when the main service remains available.
8. Cancellation by The Paris Fashion Show
If The Paris Fashion Show were to definitively cancel the event and could not offer a replacement date or an equivalent solution, the refund terms would be communicated to the participants concerned.
Any refunds, where applicable, will be limited to the amounts actually collected for the service concerned, unless otherwise required by law.
9. Force majeure
In the event of force majeure or an exceptional circumstance beyond The Paris Fashion Show’s control, particularly when it prevents or significantly complicates the holding of the event, the organization may postpone, modify, or cancel the event in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
The Paris Fashion Show will inform participants of the available options as soon as possible.
10. Services already performed
Where part of the services has already been performed before a cancellation request, that part may be payable in accordance with the applicable contractual terms.
No refund may be required for a service that has already been fully performed, subject to the applicable mandatory legal provisions.
11. Business customers and consumers
Cancellation and refund terms may differ depending on whether the customer is acting as a professional or as a consumer.
The mandatory provisions of French law protecting consumers remain applicable where relevant.
Nothing in this policy is intended or has the effect of removing a right that a consumer cannot legally waive.
12. Refund request
Any refund request must be submitted in writing to:
THE PARIS FASHION SHOW SAS
59, rue de Pontier
75008 Paris
France
Email: [official email address]
The request must specify:
-
the customer's name;
-
the brand or company name, where applicable;
-
the service concerned;
-
the booking date;
-
the order number or any available reference;
-
the reason for the request.
Each request will be reviewed in accordance with these terms, the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, and the applicable legal provisions.
13. Processing time
When a refund is approved, it will be issued using the payment method used for the order, unless otherwise agreed.
The actual time it takes for the funds to be received may depend on the payment provider and the customer's bank.
